Message from Christopher Pincher, new MP for Constituency of Tamworth

Monday, May 10th, 2010

Last Thursday the people of Tamworth constituency elected me as their Member of Parliament.  It is a tremendous honour and I am acutely conscious of the great responsibility that goes along with this job.  I promise to do my utmost for local people and provide a strong voice for Tamworth in parliament.  We face big challenges ahead – we need to fix our broken economy, tackle our social problems, clean up politics and restore trust in our battered institutions.  In all these matters I will stand up for the interests of local people.  And I look forward to playing a full part in the life of our community in Tamworth.

I plan to set up my MPs office and support team as soon as possible so I can provide a full and speedy service to constituents.  As soon as I have confirmed parliamentary contact details I will publicise them in the Herald.  Meanwhile if people need to contact me they can do so at the local Conservative office – 23 Albert Road, Tamworth, B79 7JS or email office@tamworthconservatives.co.uk.

Thank you to everyone who supported me.  I will work hard to justify your faith – and win that of others too.

Christopher Pincher
