General Election Campaign Launched!

Yesterday we launched our campaign for change in Tamworth. In just 29 days we will all be asked to decide whether we want a fresh start with positive ideas to fix our economy, society and politics, or more of the same. Andrew Mitchell MP came to join us and with about 25 team members we bombarded the town centre with 2000 leaflets. The reception from shoppers in Market Street and George Street was excellent which really did put a spring in our step. This evening we were opinion surveying voters in Dosthill – another great turnout of 15 helpers meant we spoke to nearly 350 people. Then it was off to the Fox for a well earned drink before back to the office to write more response letters to residents’ concerns.
